::Smooth process from start to finish. Arrived early morning and was soon on my way in my rental with an extremely detailed map and an abundance of information on places I should stop and see on my journey. Thorsten requested I show him my travel route and made sure I was going the fastest way. He answered all my questions promptly, even when I messaged after work hours. He couldn’t be more helpful if he tried. Hoping I can one day visit Costa Rica again and if I can, there is no doubt I will hire from here again. Highly recommend.

::We had a fantastic experience renting a small 4x4 (Suzuki Jimny) from Thorsten. The vehicle wasn't new, but in great condition with new tires, and it was very capable on the steep dirt roads and small stream crossings in the Drake's bay area. The price was substantially lower than what we would have paid from a big name rental agency. On top of it all Thorsten was extremely helpful in orienting us to Costa Rica and how to drive there (our first time in the country), recommendations for places to visit, and brought the car to our hotel and picked it up at the airport. I'll definitely be renting from here again next time I go to Costa Rica.

::We’ve been hiring 4x4s from Thorsten from for over 10 years. We’ve hired at least 15 times from Thorsten. Never have we had a single issue. Perfect flawless experience every time. They’re always super organized and timely with pick up and drop off. We can’t afford brand new fancy car rentals in Costa Rica. We need a car for at least two weeks at a time- twice a year. This is the most affordable and reliable. We drive a lot when we are in CR. We trust the cars and Thorsten. We are very grateful to the whole Offroad Rental CR team. ::If you’re thinking about traveling Costa Rica by bike then do it. If you’re gonna do it, this is the place to rent from. The bikes themselves are great but the customer service provided by Thorsten is 2nd to none. Not only is he polite, he is extremely helpful. He gave me many tips on navigating the roads, what to expect from other motorists, and places worth checking out. On my last day, I had issues with where to stay and how to get there. He jumped right in and helped me solve the problem. This isn’t part of the rental agreement, he’s just a great guy. Now go ahead and reserve that bike!

::Great experience renting a car with them. Thorsten and Jose were very friendly and efficient. We rented from them very last minute and they were happy to help. Even took a cash deposit as none of us had a credit card. Our Jimny had a problem an hour after we took it and we were out of San Jose already, but as soon as we informed them, they arrived ASAP with a new car. Also, José drew a route for us before our trip, marked places, offered tips and advices and shared some important road info which was highly appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend their service and would rent again! Thanks for everything!
