  After a 3 hour drive from the Osa Peninsula, the sight of the “Lone Star” was like an apparition, especially at a time when most other restaurants were closed due to lockdown! My hubby & I both had the special burger with homemade fries washed down with a cold cerveza - DEELISH The service was warm & friendly, we would definitely recommend this restaurant........

  Brisket and pulled pork was awesome! I will definitely be back to try the ribs.. bbq beans were muy bueno!!

  Saw the sign for Texas bbq, and being from Texas I had to stop. Ordered a pound of brisket to take back to the house and talked with owner for a while. Husband is from Texas, and they import their meat from the states. Was sooo good. Some of the best brisket I’ve had! What a fun find. Will definitely be back before we leave.

  Love this place. The owner is the nephew of my friend Jena from Wyoming that I grew up with so I am partial. I go to Costa Rica on a regular basis. Keep up the good work here people. You have a good thing going. I have a good friend in Uvita as we speak visiting a beautiful young lady from there. I told him to stop in.
