If you like to be outside... This is a nice place... Surrounded by nature... So no need to judge the place... The right place to crash and chill at the pool.

I went here back in 1995 and not sure if its owned by the same people but only stayed a couple nights. I thought it was good. One thing I remember was the pool at night would attract some interesting creatures and its where I saw my first Rhinoceros Beetle. It crawled in to the pool and we fished it out thinking it was dead. With that thought we did what any normal people would do and played a joke on my step mother and put the beetle on the door knob of the hotel room for her to find. She came back to the room and screamed bloody murder about it which we got a good laugh, but little did we know the thing was still alive and it was like prying a fist sized piece of steel off the door knob. Those things are tough like a tank. Some day I'll have to go back there and see how its changed over the years.

Jo has always been so kind to me and my wife. We have made so many friends there and are forever grateful. Great place to chill. Thanks for creating an incredible place to experience CR! Pura vida, Annie and Matt Spackman

Initially was optimistic about this spot from the online reviews but upon arrival I was very wrong. My native mother went in before me to ask for a price (in Spanish) and the women looked at her as if offended my mom spoke Spanish to her. Would walk away mid sentence repeatedly. After I intervened, the women, jo I presume, was short and rude. The whole vibe was everything opposite of what I expected. Cold, dry and rushed. She showed us the room, which smelled and looked quite dingy. As we walked back to the reception as asked a question but turned around to find her walking the other direction.
