  False advertising. "State of the art" air conditioning units. Lol. The AC units are connected to a universal thermostat, which is on a timer (auto off @6am). The guest has ZERO control over the temperature, fan speed, or even when the unit is on. They only accept cash and have a "NO REFUNDS" disclaimer. Prob bc they're VERY used to guests asking for money back. Shame on me for not checking the room first. The staff are rude af too. They legit don't care once they have your money. I know AC is not a big deal for most travelers, but I specifically booked here for the AC. Otherwise, its solid value and it gets the job done, and they provide shuttle to airport. Bathroom was a little dirty, but not terrible.

  Great hot shower. Quite. 2 blocks from small shops, veggies, seeds, clothing, meat/ cheese shops, bakeries and many eateries. Parks. Bus terminal on right side.

  My experience here was great. The hostel was mostly empty so I had my room to myself. The staff was very friendly and kind. I felt very safe. It was definitely a hostel: sort of clean bathroom, hot water, clean sheets, air conditioning, bunk beds. A common area in the lobby with a TV, microwave and wifi. Free shuttle to and from the airport. The building was very beautiful. Park out front. Shopping all around the area. Mountain views. I will be staying here again.

  Ice stayed here for years . it's under new management. No more water for sale. No more coffee. They no longer have a computer all is written in a notepad at check in. The rooms smell like urine very dirty and unhealthy.the best part is very few people go there anymore. They make you walk 3 blocks THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH, No more cards credit nor debit. They party until 3-4am. Difficult to sleep. Before there was no smoking inside. Now the guys who run the place as others allowed to smoke inside. My advice avoid this place

  Very convenient from the airport, $6 taxi ride. Great staff. Mike was very helpful and informative and resident Roberto is very kind and ready to help when he isn’t around. Stayed in a single room with a corner view and loved the way the street lights splash across the wall, I found it very aesthetic. Keep in mind this is a hostel, so no hot water or tv in your room, but a great place to rest after your flight before embarking on your next destination.
