  They were renovating while we were there. Very hospitable staff, Helpful and considerate. Breakfast was great, freshly made...will probably spend 'airport night's here from now on!

  I stayed here for two nights and it was okay. A lot of the issues that I experienced (hot water problems) are common with a lot of hotels in the area. I would stay here again if looking for a cheap hotel for a night. PROS: The staff are very friendly The hotel was very clean The room was inexpensive ($50) Great location, across from the cathedral and very near the central park. CONS: Very noisy. There is a lot of road noise, and the kitchen below plays loud music. Hot water only kind of worked, sometimes.

  The worst place I have ever stayed, it was dirty,smelly, loud, and let's not speak about the continental breakfast. I will never stay there no matter what, It was horrible.

  Nice place to stay in Alahulea. Is located next to a nice Cathedral and many shops and local restaurants. Staff was helpful and room was clean and comfortable

  My room had obvious water damage and smelled strongly of mildew. There appeared to be mold or other black marks on the walls. There was a cigarette burn on the top of the TV. The soap dish in the shower had become partially detached and was vertical. On the plus side, it is in a good location in Alajuela.
