::Fantastic people. So friendly. We took a Horse ride and the zip line tour. Our guides were fun! Horses were great. Loved the hike to the waterfall. Lunch was yummy.

::EDIT 16/03/2021: after posting those reviews and final warning by email, we finally had contact with the Rinconcito Lodge, and they refunded us the room. Let's just say that, even if that was not handled well from the beginning, it ended well. I'm adding a star to be fair. Also, bear in mind that I'm not judging the quality of the stay as I never had a chance to experience it. ---------- We booked a trip to Costa Rica in 2020, and one of our stays was planned in the Rinconcito Lodge, and we booked a cancellable room. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19, we were forced to cancel our whole trip to Costa Rica, including that room. We sent an email to cancel on 30/09/2020 for a stay scheduled in mid-december, well within the conditions to request a cancellation. We have never received any answer from the Rinconcito Lodge, not even the slighest acknowledgment, not after 4 attempts. We tried going through a local intermediary, whi had contact with, and even though they promised to reimburse that, that has never happened. We are now in march, 2021, and my only option will be to take action with VISA, and possibly more, to get back the money that is due to me. I can only strongly denounce this and recommend to stay away from them. The shame is, we would most probably have booked back with them at the first chance to book our whole trip again...

::We stayed a week in this beautiful place and everything was perfect! Amazing facilities with great swimming pool, private hiking trail to a waterfall and many other activities. The small house we rented was very comfortable and super clean, the food was delicious and all the staff very kind and professional. Thanks a lot to Rinconcito Lodge for this relaxing stay!
