::My husband and I were visiting Puerto Viejo and wanted a casual restaurant with oceanview. Their menu was interesting and reasonably priced. Our server was friendly and good. We enjoyed our lunch. My husband and I ordered fish burrito and shrimp tacos.

::The location of this restaurant is one of the best in Puerto Viejo. Directly in front of the sea and good sunset views. Menu has many options, but I haven't had anything that really satisfies yet. I've been for breakfast several times and lunch a few. One the menu, it says the tacos have flour tortillas and they come with corn tortillas. The meat, both beef and chicken, were tough. And, on this particular visit the service was so slow we almost left opting for another place with an ocean breeze. I really wanted to leave a positive review because the cute bar is a local favorite (definitely good for people watching) but until the cook starts adding some fresh herbs to the dishes the food will always be ho-hum.

::This is a great place. Food is fantastic with flavorful tastes. It doesn’t have a lot of seating but worth the wait or sit on the beach. Best food we had all week in Puerto Viejo.

::I've been to Puerto Viejo handful of times now. Every time I go back, I tell myself I'm going to try a new place but I just can't get enough of this restaurant and the staff. The restaurant is right on the water and smack dab in the middle of hippie central (great for people watching and scoring herb of the medicinal kind). I'm lucky to be able to call every staff member here a friend, especially Eugene who I badgered into a photo shoot after one two many rum and cokes. The service is a little slow, but all the while you can sit and enjoy the ambiance of the place and chat with the down to earth people who frequent it. Most of the friends I made in Puerto Viejo I met here, lots of good memories, great food (vegan friendly), and strong drinks.
