  The place was closed and seemed to have been closed for a few weeks, which was a bit disappointing. It was highly recommended for lunch by our Airbnb hosts. Also, the rocky beach a short walk from the restaurant had some amazing picture opportunities.

  Absolutamente amazing views and ambiance. Extremely friendly servers and staff. Not a lot of parking so get there early or make a reservation (I’m not sure they take reservations). Great food! Can’t wait to return.

  Best meal of our 19-day trip by far! Run, don't walk, to this fabulous restaurant! The ocean view, especially at sunset, was stunningly beautiful. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was stylish and comfortable. And the food...oh, the food...scrumptious! My husband and I shared 2 meals: almond-crusted grouper with a most unique watermelon feta salad and a delicious chickpea/curry dish and our 4 dinner companions all loved their meals – everyone ordered different dishes (pizza, shrimp, fish, etc.) and raved about it all. The prices were most reasonable – in fact, they're serving fine dining meals for the price of quick casual other places. And we splurged for dessert – you should too! A dessert is large enough for 2 people to share. Our friends had a passionfruit ice cream treat while we shared a berry crumble tart with ice cream, and both were wonderful. I believe they prefer reservations, so go ahead and make your plans to visit Por Que No as soon as possible. It's an unforgettable dining experience.

  Back open after a nice remodel. We enjoyed drinks, excellent dinner and a beautiful sunset with a very helpful and friendly staff. This is a favorite spot to enjoy the best in Costa Rica dining.
