::This place outdid my greatest dreams for family friendly atmosphere. We are Americans. My husband and I stayed here with our 3 small children 2, 4 and 6 years old for three nights in early January 2021. On past trips we skipped this section of the coast in favor of going to destinations farther along the Osa peninsula. But we still did not get to see and do all of the attractions in this area even though we packed a lot in. So we will have to visit again! The rooms are clean and simple with good air conditioning. We got a large family room on the first floor conveniently located near the restaurant, pool and secure parking area. The room did not have a mini fridge but the restaurant met all our needs. The pool was an ideal configuration for our small kids with a small, shallow pool adjacent to the larger pool. There were outdoor showers for cleaning up after the beach and before the pool. The business is evidently very eco conscious with a reduce plastics initiative and well kept recycling. The house keeper offered to do our laundry. Everyone working in the restaurant was very friendly and patient with my inadequate Spanish. The food was everything we look forward to with options from simple typical food the kids love to high end seafood and steak dishes my husband demands. The cocktails were good. Everything was very reasonably priced. The owner Tanya was so accommodating and kind. She gave us excellent recommendations for activities and outings tailored to what we were up for and above and beyond the immediate, obvious tourist attractions. We wanted something a bit off the beaten path and Tanya’s recommendations delivered! She also arranged a last minute horse encounter and short ride for our very small children which had, until then, proven difficult to find in CR. This was the vacation I needed. I told my husband it is better than having a home in CR since it included breakfast and a complete staff who attended to our every need. The area was beautiful, quiet and conveniently located. The weather was beautiful even when it rained a little bit daily. It is a wonderful part of a beautiful country and showcased the friendly, helpful people that make Costa Rica a destination to return to again and again.

::Fantastic location as you're passing en route to the National Park. Beds were clean and bathrooms sanitary. Staff was friendly -- could have taken more initiative in helping us plot our next moves, but certainly were helpful enough!

::We stopped here on our way to the national park. A great place to sleep for the night and have breakfast, then move on from!
