No AC or fan, kinda smelly, and the windows open out to a common area balcony. Great cats tho.

We arrived without a reservation & rented a private suite. The water heater was out of order & it took a bit for the host to locate the ac control & get it working. The bed was very firm, rock hard actually. Very nice staff & nice common areas. One very nice perk was a gated garage for our rental car. Fine place to stay for a night.

Excellent for the price. It's quite loud, and on a busy street, so if light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The deck out front is nice and has a hammock. Also has friendly cuddly cats. What I didn't like was the welcome and lack of a tour at the start. It made me less comfortable and I didn't really know where I was "allowed" to go, as I think the family lives there too. This seems like a common thing in Costa Rica, but not in Canada (where I'm from), so it was a little odd for me and made me uncomfortable. Otherwise, good place and clean.

Great clean and comfortable accommodation at an affordable price and fantastic downtown location directly across from the Grecia Parque. The owner/general manager, Marco, is friendly and attentive and always ready to offer good advice and assistance. I would highly recommend that anyone who is considering moving to Grecia or spending an extended period of time here spend a few days at the Mangifera just to get a feel for this wonderful town and its wonderful people.

Awesome place. In the middle of Grecia, well located. The hosts there are very nice. The rooms look like hotel rooms, better and bigger than any hostel we went in Costa Rica. There's a nice and beautiful green area in the backyard. They also offer the shuttle to reach the airport which takes 25 minutes without traffic (it was 20$ per shuttle, so 20$ for 1 to 4 people).
