::They were renovating while we were there. Very hospitable staff, Helpful and considerate. Breakfast was great, freshly made...will probably spend 'airport night's here from now on!

::I stayed here for two nights and it was okay. A lot of the issues that I experienced (hot water problems) are common with a lot of hotels in the area. I would stay here again if looking for a cheap hotel for a night. PROS: The staff are very friendly The hotel was very clean The room was inexpensive ($50) Great location, across from the cathedral and very near the central park. CONS: Very noisy. There is a lot of road noise, and the kitchen below plays loud music. Hot water only kind of worked, sometimes.

::The worst place I have ever stayed, it was dirty,smelly, loud, and let's not speak about the continental breakfast. I will never stay there no matter what, It was horrible.

::Nice place to stay in Alahulea. Is located next to a nice Cathedral and many shops and local restaurants. Staff was helpful and room was clean and comfortable

::My room had obvious water damage and smelled strongly of mildew. There appeared to be mold or other black marks on the walls. There was a cigarette burn on the top of the TV. The soap dish in the shower had become partially detached and was vertical. On the plus side, it is in a good location in Alajuela.
