::The grounds are beautiful, and the casitas are adequate. But what really made this stay special for us were Mikey & Diana, the managers. They went far above the call of duty to be helpful, kind, humorous, and insightful to to the local area and it's residents. We're building a house nearby -- and they are such a joy to be around that we'll stay at Hotel El Mono Feliz for many trips in the future.

::We have been in Costa Rica last November. We decide to end our trip by Ojochal and it was by far the best hotel we had there and great service. We had a really pleasant surprise to have an upgrade, but we do recommend to go with the private cabin right away. The place is cute, the cabin is so private, pretty quiet. Plenty of really good restaurants around for foodies. Breakfast: you can choose with 2 or 3 items and it was a really good and reasonable breakfast. The owner was awesome. They were available and and really want your stay to be the best as possible. But they are able to let your private moment too. It was so relaxing and refreshing. Would go backt here automatically if I go back in Costa Rica by any chance.

::This was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. When my husband and I arrived we were greeted by Mike and Diana making us feel like we were coming to visit friends and family. We were welcomed in with open arms and had by far the best honeymoon stay ever. Starting with the breakfasts, THEY ARE AMAZING! Everything is vegan, and you get to choose from their every day items or a special. They then went through things we could do while we were there and gave us breakdowns, costs, hidden times (always expect 2-3 times longer than you plan when traveling in shuttles), and what to expect on these excursions/adventures. They made sure that when we made our decisions they had things booked and ready for us before hand always in a timely manner, and exceeding our expectations. The staff was very helpful, polite, and always helping us with practicing our Spanish. On top of all of the love we felt we did not tell anyone before hand that we were staying on our honeymoon. Mike and Diana found out and made sure to have a bottle of champagne waiting in our room after we adventured on our first day. The amount of detail, love, friendliness, and we didn't even discuss how absolutely stunning this property is...they made they end of our honeymoon absolutely magical. We cannot thank the staff at Hotel el Mono Feliz & specially Mike & Diana for all of your hardworking, hospitality and sheer kindness on our stay. We are forever grateful to have met you all and had an amazing experience in Ojochal. We absolutely recommend this hidden gem, whenever you're staying in Ojochal!

::I stayed at Mono Feliz hotel for a week with my family and we all loved the place. The owners and staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make their clients feel at home. The place itself is surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. Our room was clean and breakfast was absolutely delicious. And there’s a nice swimming pool. Perfect for chilling out. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

::Fantastic place, Mike and Diana are super kind and helpful. The place is just gorgeous with trees and nature everywhere. Our kids loved the pool as much as we did. Breakfast is awesome too. Couldn’t have been better, really. If we come back to CR, we’ll definitely come back here.
