  Bosque del Mar is a beautiful property. It's built into a forest and at the same time just steps away from the beach. The pool is beautiful and the staff super friendly. We loved all the shade provided and the beach is calm and perfect for little children like ours. At the same time there are a variety of tours offered so you won't be bored. I will definitely recommend this property to my travel clients at TropiQ Trips.

  Good location on beach, but most rooms do not face or see the beach. Rooms are up to date and nice. Still have to pay to utilize the many kayaks and other things laying around that are owned by the hotel. Small pool as well. Good restaurant on site, not many others very close.

  Nice hotel located on an uncrowded, beautiful beach. Romantic sunsets, excellent pool area in a magnificent tropical setting. A great place if you want to relax and escape the "tourist" beaches.

  Wow, where do I start? I seriously think this is my FAVORITE place on Planet Earth. This little gem of a hotel is nestled into a quiet corner of Playa Hermosa and everything about it is pure comfort, relaxation, and tropical vibes. From the tropical trees hiding the rooms, to the open air restaurant on the first floor and second story bar, to the exotic wood pathway leading to the beach, to the quiet pool set under a couple of large native trees, everything was PERFECT. The room was large and spacious. The beds and chairs were comfortable enough. The TV was on the smaller side, but when in that kind of environment, who wants to sit inside and watch TV anyway!?! Service was extremely attentive and very helpful. Everyone from the front desk, to the waiters in the restaurant, to the bar tenders, and even the housekeeping staff was responsive and more than willing to do anything to make our stay hassle-free. The beach is quiet, is GORGEOUS, and if you wanted to wander down the beach a bit there are some other really good bars and restaurants within a short walk. Needless to say, we LOVER Bosque del Mar and will ABSOLUTELY be back again and again and again!

  If in the area, do not hesitate to stay here. Cannot be beat for the price, reminded me of a $200-300 hotel back in the states. Got a free upgrade to oceanfront suite and it was fantastic. Only two of us stayed but you could easily fit a family of 5-6 in one of those room setups as couch has pullout + main room has two queen beds. Great local restaurants a half mile down the beach away.
