::One of the best, most legit japanese restaurants in sjo

::By far, the best sushi in Costa Rica. Located in La Sabana Sur, San Jose, they have the most authentic sushi you are use to if you are a sushi connoisseur like me. Personally, I do not like the typical lots of rice no sushi that most restaurants make in Costa Rica. Tāmura is super authentic, and Masa and Eva are always with a smile. The sushi is little rice, lots of fish and you can taste the quality and love in every bite. During the pandemic, I was lucky to see they were open on Facebook and I started placing my order for pick up and have been doing it every week for the past few months and nothing makes me happier during these quarantine times. I have made this a Saturday ritual and hope you will do the same.

::Visited after reading, long ago, a Tico Times review. Truly the best sushi I have tried in San Jose. The owner is the one preparing the food. As he is a Japanese he knows well what is he doing. I choose the basic tuna roll and a couple of nigiri, salmon and shrimp. Excellent, super fresh. 100% recommended. Not expensive at all...
