  If you do nothing else in Costa Rica, stay here! The customer service from start to finish is the best you'll experience. They knew our names the first day, were intuitive with our needs, served with consistency throughout all the resort and that doesn't even begin to cover the incredible and breathtaking hot springs so beautifully manicured you'll feel like you're in paradise. The spa is the best we've ever experienced hands down. Definitely coming back!

  AMAZING HOTEL. From the warm welcome with refreshing beverages, to extremely polite employees. Every single person we interacted with treated us so warm, that made our stay even better. They also have great beds, great views from the volcano, and the BEST HOT SPRINGS EVER! Oh plus, the best cocktails. It was a really nice experience and I cant wait to go back!

  Such a wonderful resort. Being able to use the hot springs (which are amazing by the way) every day was such a great way to wind down each night and the hotel itself was both beautiful and comfortable. Some of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in a hotel. I loved the tablet in the room that let you order room service and make reservations right from there, it made it super easy to do everything. Also the daily breakfast buffet was great and something we looked forward to every day. I would definitely stay here if I go back to Costa Rica in the future.

  WOW! 900 hundred acres of unexpected Wow. This is one of the only Natural Hot Springs provided by Mother Nature. Many natural pool areas, the higher you go, the hotter the water. Wake up to stunning views of the Arenal Volcano. The grounds are superbly manicured. The rooms were very nice. The dinner every night was well prepared, super fresh , cooked to perfection and "MAC' our server (he has been there 23 years) took care of us, made us feel extremely welcome and took us under his wing with advice on the local sites. Costa Rica never disappoints. This Spa was not on my radar. Don't miss a chance to experience this natural wonder

  We stayed at Tabacon for 3 nights in February 2021 and it was probably the most enjoyable place we have ever stayed. The service is absolutely wonderful. Every single employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay great. We felt 100% safe based on how they handled COVID protocols, much better than anywhere in the US. Both bars have amazing, creative cocktails created by skilled, professional bartenders. The bar programs go well beyond typical tropical options and there would be plenty of options for anyone regardless of drinking preference. They also had about five really nice craft beer options which is very good for CR. The food was incredible. We mostly ate small plates at the bar, which were outstanding, and one night we did the 6 course tasting menu which was equally impressive and an amazing value at $65/person. The grounds are beautiful, and obviously the hot springs are like paradise. I could go on and on about all the different things that made this trip great. We were on the fence about staying at Tabacon because there are so many other great options at cheaper prices. It was 100% worth the extra money for such a unique and incredible experience. We are already talking about going back sometime.
