::We went to this restaurant not too long ago when the city was not allowing dine-in due to COVID-19. It was pouring rain outside and we had a larger group, the store owner personally invited us in and while we were waiting for our pizza he made us some appetizers and homemade lemonade just because. The family size pizza comes with either a coke, a lemonade drink or a 10% discount and it was so good. The owner is from Italy and really knows what he is doing, some of the best pizza I've had in my whole life and I've been to Italy a few times! I would 10/10 recommend, and it's pretty close to the airport too, if you're arriving or soon leave I would make a quick stop here. sorry I don't have photos, we ate in the car :)

::We went to Ragu for lunch due to our flight being delayed and we were not expecting too much BUT it was fantastic! No joke the pizza was pretty much as good as I have ever had even in Italy. - The waiters and owner were super friendly - You can have different halves of your pizza - There is secure parking nearby - The restaurant is super authentic, you feel like you are in Italy! All in all this is a real gem - you will not be disappointed - it may be one of the best pizzas you have ever had! Thanks Ragu!

::If you are close to the airport or in alajuela you definitely should go here! The pizza is unreal and the owner is such a kind man - they make you feel very welcome and make sure you have absolutely everything you need. Only down side is the ambiance is lacking slightly. There are bright yellow lights inside that take away from the romantic feeling but outside is lovely - some dim lighting and candles would make a world of difference. That said we will definitely be back next time we fly out if Juan sanatamaria !
