::An unexpected pleasure. Tucked away near the airport this is a lovely Argentinean steakhouse. Right from the start, the old school professional waiters and the olive oil and balsamic with fresh bread and a large glass of wine set me up for a great lunch. For the chef I would say the starters were great but you could refine the cooking a bit to match the service. Lighter pastry on the empanadas and maybe less heavy on the frying of the chorizzo. Tenderloin medium rare with mash and mixed veg was exactly as required. If you are near the airport this is an easy choice.

::The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The wine and food selection was 5 star and our meal was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in Costa Rica. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

::Prices are not transparent. We ordered a bottle of wine based on the menu prices. A 50% discount was advertised but we were told it would apply only to Costa Ricans. We thought ok and ordered based on the menu price. We asked up front about pricing When we received the bill, the wine was billed at 2x the cost shown in the menu. This was not a language problem because we speak fluent Spanish. When I questioned the price, I was told that the prices on the menu were discounted prices and the waiter scurried away.

::Service was good, food was just ok, however the prices are not what is in the menu. Therefore if one thinks of overall service the waiter lied to us about prices. We speak fluent spanish and it would be hard to except it was a misunderstanding. Go next door. Possibly better. Possibly better transparency.

::The beef tenderloin was fantastic and also they serve a lot of other delicious menus like salads, empanadas etc... The meat dishes come with a great choice of sides. Good malbec served by the glass and even nice cappuccino! Super friendly staff and nice atmosphere, great choice overall!
