  Nice boutique hotel in the jungle and close to the ocean. The open air yoga pavilion is surrounded by nature and wildlife. It's a great setting for intimate classes or small retreats.

  We stayed just one night at the Magellan. Hotel is clean and the grounds immaculate. Staff greeted us and gave us a tour. Super nice! When showing us our room, we saw that all the doors had been left wide open until we arrived. This is great for air, but we had tiny moths flying all over our room. Bummer. Bed was very comfortable and room very clean. We felt very safe here and loved the patios with rocking chairs, hooks for hammocks and ceiling fans. Ocean access is not that close and the beach near the hotel is just ok. It was great for one night. Not sure if I would have enjoyed staying here for my entire trip as we were spoiled with a beachside resort for the week prior. Not many places to walk to, but if you’re looking for a lovely hotel and some solitude from town, this is your place!

  Really nice place to stay within walking distance to a nice beach, great breakfasts, clean accommodations, helpful staff, nice pool. We saw howler monkeys in nearby trees. I would definitely stay here again.
