  Super service and large rooms. I would have done 5 star but really no beach space and selection for eating was more limited than other resorts. Overall fun trip and good service with a nice room.

  We stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club at the resort. The rooms were new, clean and modern. The view was spectacular overlooking the pool and the ocean. The amenities at the resort were excellent and the staff very friendly. The Vacation club was a bit removed from the resort and didn't have the same attention to detail that I am used to at other Vacation clubs.

  We spent 4 nights at this hotel. Very conveniently located between San José international airport (1.5 hr) and the Manuel antonio Park. The staff was very friendly, room was good, spacious with a beautiful ocean view. The kids loved the pool. It was great to be able to use the driving range as well. The beach is not really a swimming one. The sea is calm but the water looked quite murky. Sand is dark colour. Nice beach for strolls though.

  Stayed 2 nights here in the Presidential Suite which was very spacious but otherwise underwhelming. Bed and linens were comfortable, master bath was nice and large. Living room sofa is strangely narrow and not very comfortable. There is a small wet bar room with a sink and a mini fridge, but nothing else. Would have been nice to have some glassware, silverware, and a bottle / wine opener at the least. The age of the unit shows, including what appeared to be mold / mildew caked on the A/C vents which was pretty gross. We also had some type of animal(s) running around in the ceiling during our stay. They sounded fairly large, I’d guess either monkeys or raccoons. The views were great and there were 3 nice balconies to enjoy.

  Everything about this resort is magical. The Staff make it very special and are very personable. We had a fantastic stay and cannot wait to return. Huge thanks to Marlon and Lorenza. Bryan and Pamela on Front Desk. Hugo and all the Bar Team. Dary in the Salon. Alejandro at breakfast.
