::Great place to get a variety of fruits and tico candy favorites. It is a common stop for tourists because the merchants offer free tastes of the fruits in hopes that you'll make a purchase. Beware, integral to tico vendor culture is the mentality of getting as much money out of the tourist as possible. Just keep your wits about you, insist make a purchase only if they offer free restrooms for your group, etc. Caveat emptor!
