  This place is gorgeous! And very romantic!! Came here on my honeymoon and was fantastic. Only reason I give this a 3 star is because I felt a little ripped off staying here, especially since the second place we stayed at Hotel Secreto charged half the price for double the amenities. Also they only take CASH, which is a major blow for us American travelers! Another blow, was that this hotel is not within walking distance of anything cool! And annoying gate to get in and out of hotel. They charged us $70 for the night and on their website it said breakfast was included but when we arrived they said they are not doing breakfast no longer.

  Loved staying at this place. Beautiful grounds, close to everything. Beautiful views of the volcano. I would stay again and recommend to anyone!

  One of our best stay in Costa Rica! Walking distance to supermarket and restaurant (however not to the center of la fortuna which is main city with all the restaurants and bars). Even if it's close to the main road, you can't hear it at all. Rooms and shower are very clean, have an AC and safe. Direct view on the vulcano! Very well equipped kitchen in the garden shared area, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Very nice staff who showed us around and adviced where we can go and what to do in the area. I will definately stay there next time.

  The hotel has superb views of the Volcano from the room. Lots of animals around who are all comfortably walking around. A quiet environment with both air-conditioning and fans in your room to give you the opportunity to sleep comfortably at night. You can sit on your own porch and enjoy the view and/or hang out. The pool is nice to cool down after a day of exploring and you can park on-site. An excellent choice if you want to enjoy the nature but don’t want to stay in a resort.
