::A good place to buy authentic Costa Rican made handicrafts. The shopkeeper is very friendly and knowledgeable on the artwork. Reasonable and fair price points. Highly recommend

::Excelentes piezas. Muy, pero muy caras. Dicen que se debe a su política de trato justo con los artesanos y, si es así, qué bueno. Sin embargo, debo confesar que tengo mis reservas sobre ello. Vale mucho la pena visitar la tienda.

::Great place if you want an authentic Baruka mask!

::Namu is THE only souvenir shop you need to visit in San Jose. It was the only one we could find that had true works of art from craftsmen. We saw pottery, knitted goods, paintings, jewelry, woven baskets - all amazing quality and affordable prices. Go here. Do not go to Mercado Central or The Artisans Market (at least not expecting true handicrafts).

::Awesome place! Connell is incredibly knowledgeable about indigenous culture. He is very careful when working with indigenous groups using fair trade and sustainability practices. Good prices and a large percentage of his sales goes back to the artist.
