::Awesome hotel. Beach is a bit boring. Pool is quite narrow. Great place if you enjoy being close to people.

::Excellent hotel with a wonderful setting in the mangrove forest. The best part about the resort are the people working there. Service is amazing and they take care of all your needs. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The two restaurants are very nice but the food could be slightly better. Also the water activities as well as other land activities are fun and reasonably priced. Overall, a great experience but minor adjustments needed, for full 5 stars.

::Beautiful resort. Service meh. Staying here right now and I have to say the service is probably the worst of any Marriott property, except for a few people. Some details: My husband is Titanium FOR LIFE, we get to the hotel to check in and wait for 20 minutes while people were working in the offices ignoring us. First thing we do is go to the restaurant to grab a late lunch. I order a beer and then watch the food server walk by it on the bar for 20 minutes. I had to ask twice to get it. There were two food servers that came in after her shift, Jorge and Freddy, and they were amazing. Fast forward to breakfast, we tried to order from the a la carts menu instead of buffet when we found out that the breakfast was included did not include a la carts. Ok. But at least I’ll get my coffee, right? Sure. After 20 min and having to go to the bar and ask the 5 people sitting there giggling with each other. And it took that long to get cream for my friends coffee. Luckily the bartender that worked on Saturday was really nice and gave us great suggestions to visit. Fast forward to the next day, they tell our friend who is Platinum that she didn’t get breakfast with her room, even though it was fine yesterday. She had to leave breakfast and go to the front desk to hash it out…. Where they told her she was right. We have a few more days here so let’s see if it gets any better but not confident. Not a way to treat people that collectively have spent over 1600 nights in a Marriott property. We know Marriott very well and we know when the service is not up to standards. When we asked our friends who have travelled extensively throughout throughout Costa Rica if this is standard for the country they said absolutely not, other resorts have a higher quality level of service.

::Best service I have ever seen in a hotel, I could give 6 stars for the service. The hotel is nice, a little bit more old fashioned than on the pictures. Food is good. We did not got around as it did not look interesting. The swimming pool is stunning.

::This is a fantastic hotel on a great stretch of beach. The rooms are modern and first class. The mattresses and pillows were perfect. All of the staff I met had been there for years and obviously loved their work. The food and service were as good as it gets. The selection of beer and wines are good. We live in Costa Rica part time and have been coming here for 25+ years. This is one of the 10 best hotels I have encountered in the country and we will be back.
