  Online classes have saved my life! Practicing at home helps me to be more focused and save me time and money coming and going. I totally recommend it! It has helped me a lot.

  Downtown Yoga changed my life! I took a yoga teacher training here and am a better person for it - calmer, more confident, stronger. And I use these tools to help other people live happier, healthier lives as well. One of the most memorable of these helpful moments is when one of my best friends was getting married. She was freaking out beforehand and ready to take xanax and drink to calm her nerves. I practiced some breathing exercises I learned at Downtown Yoga with her and she was able to calm herself and experience her wedding as herself. She cried tears of happiness as she thanked me afterwards. Downtown Yoga is an oasis of tranquility and good vibes in the middle of the intense crazy city of San José. It's a must do if you spend any time there!

  I have not been to Yoga classes, however I comment on the place where the academy is located. The staircase of Barrio Otoya is an architectural delight in the eyes. I can easily say that it is one of the most beautiful streets in San José, thanks to the details of that staircase, its balustrade and railings. Whenever I pass by the place, I admire that architectural detail that gives a nod to what was San José's past. As for those who put the academy in that place, very good choice.

  I love it here! Great classes, teachers and students. I've been practicing my spanish here with local yoga students. Great place if you are staying in San Jose, Costa Rica!
