  Where do we begin. Our waiter Joseph was a pleasure. Great hospitality and service. The food...you really cannot go wrong here. Just amazing. The ambiance was beautiful. You sit above the area where the pool is. Honestly, a very wonderful time.

  Conchal Hotel was the first hotel in Guanacaste we stayed in and It was not difficult to find at all. When we arrived at the hotel it was such a breath of fresh air. The pool and the flowers were so lovely. Our room was very spacious even with a king-size bed in it. The nearby Playa Brasilito was only about a 5-minute walk, but I would recommend walking a bit further along the beach (about 15min) to Playa Conchal. It has much smoother waters and howler monkeys in the trees. We received some of the friendliest service at this hotel especially during breakfast time where we were hosted by Donald. Donald was such a pleasure and so nice to talk to, we recommend everyone go to the breakfast at Conchal. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely return in the future if we are in Costa Rica again.

  I liked: cleanliness, customer service, delicious food, and live music. I disliked: car noise as the hotel is located on the main street. The pool is small.

  This small hotel is situated in a very quite sleepy village with not a lot of activities or any good beach area near by. Definitely rent a car (preferably a 4X4) to get around. Responsive and knowledgeable management and a tasty (although a little precey) restaurant on site was a definite bonus! Very safe area where we felt comfortable and well taken care of!
