::Beautiful & clean ground with a few natural hotsprings with water straight from the volcano. I just went there for the hotsprings, you can pay an entrey fee of 4.000 CRC and stay there until 9:00 pm. The hotsprings are amazing! The fact that the water is naturally hot just because of the volcano - and they are really hot - is underappreciated. Definitely can recommend it to go there!

::We loved staying at this quaint place at the base of the Miravalles volcano! We enjoyed the clean and cozy cabins on the property and stayed for 2 nights with our 4 kids, seeing iguanas, a tucán, birds and toads. The thermal pools were great, we felt we had the place to ourselves. The family that runs this place is really friendly and helpful. They gave us a great recommendation for Freddie, a local guide who took us up the volcano and then showed us a spectacular swimming hole/waterfall to cool off. The food is excellent, and the drinks... ask for the fresh Maracuya, an adult version can made as well!

::Great dinners, great service, great atmosphere. We loved the fact that it is family owned and the whole family is there - such cute kiddos! Don't miss the hot springs - they are fantastic!
