::This is an overall great place to stay. Nice pool (with a slackline), close to everything, pull-up bars on the property, good pancakes, helpful staff, cheap drinks. The private room (ensuite) was really nice..although since it has 2 beds it is a little pricey for one person. If it was shared with 2 ppl, it is a killer value at around $35 per person.

::We close the hostel for two nights and we stuck without money and we have another place to stay with our friends for free.. we just asked to cancel the two nights(without the deposit) and they told us that we need to pay the full price! We were very disappointed that they did not come towards us

::We booked in advance to ensure there were no troubles, but this place was sketchy. Apparently their credit card machine was "broken" and they demanded payment in cash. They also demanded that they hold our passports during the stay which was a red flag. We got out of there and stayed at a local hotel.

::The hostel on its own would be maybe a 4 out of 5 but they are so helpful, do their best to clean and they have an adorable dog who is very friendly. I would happily come here again.

::Lovely, lovely staff who are super helpful with itinerary planning and always on hand for a chat. Great location close to restaurants and bars, good communal areas with a nice pool and slack line. As of late November there is also an extremely cute 3 month old energetic puppy owned by management which is even worth a visit. Communal toilets and showers are good and soap is provided. However, we stayed 2 nights in the tents which are relics of the 1950s - they are very dark, small and humid, and any noise in the area late into the night or early morning is heard (would recommend one of their walled rooms instead).
