  Nice restaurant just off the side of the highway running between Ciudad Quesada to Platanar.

  After a looooong journey from the UK the waiters at Restaurante La Hacienda were super friendly and helped my husband who they could see was suffering with a terrible headache from the plane by giving him ice in a napkin. While the 80s tunes were getting better and better they then served the most incredible steaks.... a culinary enigma.... flash fried beautifully on the outside and medium rare but as if slow cooked (i know, amazing!) On the inside... fab restaurant!

  I have visited this restaurant on a couple of occasions and have found that they have good cooks. Breakfast has been very good as have the dishes served at lunch or dinner. They have good pricing, within the normal budget and don't use double pricing standard ( national and tourist), its 1 price for all. Waiters and other personnel are courteous, kind, helpful, and go out of their way so you can have a good time. There is a watchman looking after the cars in the parking area ready to help you as you leave.
