::Area is surrounded by shops eateries and hotels. It is a main area or tourist to explore San Jose and get a feel of the culture of the Costa Ricans. The have two main walking areas one north a block from central street and one south a block from central. Along each roadway is lots of stores and markets to wander area.

::A little park with statues honoring important historical figures of Costa Rica. El beso statue was striking... we really enjoyed our time here, taking in some of the sites of San Jose.

::A beautiful place in the heart of San Jose. Rich with culture, farmers, shops and amazing local food. Perfect if you’re in the search for cheaper souvenirs or local coffee and chocolate.

::Although quarantine prohibits access to public areas like this beautifully set up and easy to locate park is still a mesmerizing sight as I walk my way down to do my groceries shop or simply walking my dog. Pops (ice-cream shop) right across the street for one to enjoy alone or with friends/girlfriend. Not even forgetting the beautiful buildings (conquest era) that surrounds it.
