The ticket costs 740 colones and is a postcard ready to be sent anywhere in the world. Of the best tickets. The museum is quite entertaining despite its main content being stamps. In the telegraph and telephone section we can use some phones that are magnetic and talk to another person on the other side of the room, which makes the visit Super entertaining. You can see architectural details of the post office building. There are a variety of stamps, most of them super fun, as well as photographs of the beginnings of the Costa Rican post office. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The last Saturdays of each month opens from 8:30 to 11:30. The tour is very nice and the staff very friendly.

The place could be nice, however, we do not know, because they do not accept card, it is the only museum that does not accept card, which is frustrating because although the price is 1700 colones, it is not always effective.

Very well preserved old building where the central facilities of the Costa Rican telegraph were, then they were the central offices of the Costa Rican mail and now it is the Postal Museum ... This building is located in the metropolitan area of San José, about 200 mts. of the Cathedral ...
