  So easy to stay on the ocean side of the road. Restaurant across the street. Easy access to the highway. The air conditioning was appreciated. As were the bath tubs that were big enough for two to enjoy. Marcelo is an amazing human being. Thank you.

  We had a marvelous time at La Diosa. We are a family of five (couple and three kids). Mr. Marcelo was always very kind and attentive. He was kind to help me to prepare a surprise for my wife's birthday by ordering a cake and putting birthday song on the speaker during our breakfast. Thank you, Mr. Marcelo!!!! We loved our stay and we certainly will come back if we have the opportunity to do so. About the hotel, it's very nice and clean. A good pool so the kids could end the day relaxing and playng there. Small, but good enough to finish the day. We stayed at a bungalow with three rooms. Perfect for us. The only thing that needs improvement is the shower. We are tall and the shower is not high enough. But it didn't diminish our happiness in our stay. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, but as it was raining a lot, it was not secure to go there. But we could seat on a bench placed in front of it to admire the beauty. We recommend.

  Nice hotel with cosy, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Other than that it was disappointing. We booked the king room with the hot tub. It was not worth it. The jets in the tub didnt work that good and the water that was still in the pipes had a foul smell. The breakfast was a big let down. All in all we paid far too much for what we've got. That's a pity because I really wanted to like this place. They have a small private beach, good location if you get there by car (playa negra is a beautiful beach close by) and a nice pool area. But the cons outweigh the pros.

  This hotel was such a delight!! The grounds were absolutely stunning and meticulously maintained!! The included breakfast was delicious, hot, varied and served in a beautiful open dining setting surrounded by lush jungle foliage and crashing ocean waves. The staff was kind, attentive and quick to replenish each offering as it diminished. The rooms are colorfully painted in a quaint Caribbean style, large, very clean and comfortable. The immaculate pool looks out at the ocean yet is surrounded by beautiful, dense trees and flowers. It was an absolute joy to stay there!

  This place is a gem. Located outside of Cahuita, in a beautiful garden just by the beach. The English speaking, generous and friendly owner Marcelo is creating a wonderful atmosphere and really takes care of his guests. Breakfast at this place is amazing. Rooms are clean.
