  I have had Medismart membership for 3 years and used services at this hospital several times. Altho pleased with the quality of care, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with them NOT me with electronic facturas, specifically for several laboratory tests performed March 30. 2021. To date, I have written several departments, including Lab, two times, called the Lab and main number to beg them to send the LEGALLY REQUIRED e-facturas in order to submit insurance claims. To date, I have had NO RESPONSE. I am at the point of reporting this facility to SUGEF for non-compliance with the law and of discontinuing use of their services. This is a warning to other users.... and yet another request to Metropolitano to send me the e-factura.

  Way too slow. The doctor who attended my son was great but the administration is way too slow. One of them got mad just because I asked her to help me have one of the diagnosis approved with INS. I had to do the calls. The other girl was doing a good explaining, since the other girl was the one taking care of our process she kept putting obstacles. She was taking the long run. You should train your employees and reward those who do well.

  5am and no one is available to pick up the hospital phone number. Are you sure this place is 24/7? It doesnt seem to be. I will call Clínica Biblica, that is a kilometer away and has better service. This is a joke.

  While traveling in Costa Rica, I needed to go to the hospital. This place was very friendly, fast, and helpful. With no appointment, they had me in and out in two hours. This included a cat scan and results, and a doctor written report to provide to my insurance in the US for a claim. Thanks!

  My husband and I each have had doctor appoints there with which we were satisfied. When I had an ultrasound, I arrived at the appointed time only to be told it was in the computer for a half hour later. Since I had to drink a lot of water beforehand and couldn’t pee, I was uncomfortable for longer than necessary. There was no apology. I received an email verifying the appointment for the later time just ten minutes before the time I had been given.
