::We love this place! (And my wife doesn't even like Mexican food!). Los Tacos al Pastor are tremendous, especially with some refritos al lado con queso. And the salsa verde ¡es perfecto! What a sweet family too :-)

::We have been visiting this fine restaurant for a few years (formerly known as El Chavo Tico) and love the food here! My wife and I love spicy (surprisingly hard to find in San José) and the salsa verde here is muy picante. The Tacos al Pastor are so delicious - and so reasonably priced too. The Enchiladas are also excelente. We have taken other family here that's not so enchanted with spicy - and they were able to cobble something together that was both delicious and mild. Highly recommended. The proprietor and his wife and two daughters are a wonderful, happy family - one of our favorite magical spots in San José.
