::Great experience renting from this company. They dropped off the rental car right at the hotel I was staying at and I was able to drop off the rental car at the departures parking lot right before my flight. Unlike many other rental companies I looked into, they let me know exactly how much the total price was including mandatory insurance. The car worked great with four wheel drive which was nice to have at some of the remote airbnbs I stayed at.

::Fantastic experience - We had a trip to Costa Rica last month and thought i found a good deal on a car rental with another company. Got hit with the "mandatory insurance" scam from them that doubled the quoted online price. Refused. Searched on line and found CR-Save rent a car, which has the motto of no hidden fees. Communication was fast and booking was easy over email and whatsapp. Got a great quote. They came out to our AirBNB for car pick up and the drop off at the airport which made it very convenient. Rented a 4x4 Rav4. It was an older model of car but still worked out great. Their processing is an older style of paperwork, but small issue compared to the friendly service and great pricing without hidden fees. Other insurance are optional. Based on our experience, I highly recommend CR. Don't get scammed by other bigger companies.

::This company is fantastic. They brought the car to us at our hotel in San Jose, gave us great tips, looked out for us, and really took good care of us. We even had a miscommunication through the hotel about our rental and it never ended up being booked with CR Save, and they still brought us what we needed in less than 30 minutes. The car was perfect for what we needed, the cheapest price found, and they even threw in the GPS. Great company!!
