::We stayed here 4-5 years ago and loved it. Checked in today and the place is more like a 1 star hotel. We are very disappointed. The rooms need to be condemned. An entire renovation is in immediate need. There’s black mold everywhere, everything is stained, dirty and old. The last update to this hotel appears to have been many, many years ago. We can’t wait to get out of here, but we have a 4 night stay. We asked to change rooms, but the new one is just as gross.

::Tambor in Covid time. Air Conditioner didn't work in my building for 12 hours or so. Shower didn't work fine (fix it myself 'cause all maintenance guys were with AC issue). Employees that served the food didn't know what they were serving. Too few personnel for a weekend. I am used to RIU level of service, didn't find it here. At least the room was clean.

::The service, restaurant, and people are amazing. The entertainment is very wonderful and great for kids. Jordis from aqua sport was super helpful and kind !

::This is the all-inclusive hotel for most ticos. Nice food and drinks. The rooms are OK. They could have more activities for the guests and the pools could have slides but other than that everything is fine.

::Recently I went with my parents to this hotel to rest after so much office work. We have gone to this hotel many times before the pandemic and I can say that the customer service was excellent. We had a wonderful time, especially they treated us very well in the reception area and in the food areas. Due to my gluten-free vegan diet, on several occasions they made me a specialized dish (very good tasting and excellent presentation). We managed to get the relaxation we needed on this trip. The hotel has been giving maintenance to the facilities during this pandemic time and it looks great. I want to give special thanks to the following people: Heriberto (chef), Luis (cook), Abner (cook), Guillermo (food court), Herberth (customer service), Jessica (restaurant supervisor) and Michelle (receptionist). Thank you all!!
